It is easier to pack a sandwich or light lunch before going out to explore or take a walk rather than line up for an overpriced sandwich.

Does the house and the resort live up to what you expected? The pictures and the brochures don't give the full picture of the resort because obviously, they were made to promote the resort's good points.
